The North Miami Police Department COPS Unit delivering meals to the North Miami PAL participants in preparation for Lunch on ZOOM! On this Special ZOOM Lunch, the PAL of North Miami participants were able to meet with fellow peers and converse about their daily activities while being stuck at home quarantining. The phrase “Quarantine 15” came up as some of the kids weren’t too familiar with this phrase. The kids asked the new City Manager questions regarding current news as well as. The menu for today was Ham and Turkey subs with a side of potatoes chips of their choice provided by Publix Deli.

On this special ZOOM Lunch, the PAL of North Miami participants were able to meet Mayor Philippe Bien-Aime, Vice Mayor Alix Desulme, Councilman Scott Galvin, Councilwoman Carol Keys and Councilwoman Mary Estime-Irvin. The participants enjoyed lunch from Wing Stop of North Miami the menu consisted of chicken wings, and a healthy side of celery and carrot sticks.
