What does PAL have to offer to the youth?

 PAL provides after school and weekend activities through varies sports and educational program. It is a great way for Law Enforcement Officers to interact with the youth of the community. 

Who can participate in PAL?

PAL currently invites students from local communities ages 8-18 to participate in PAL related programs. 

Can I get community service hours?

PAL offers community service to local high school students looking to meet requirements for graduation. PAL has numerous community events yearly and will always be looking for volunteers when that time comes. Please keep posted and follow us on Instagram, as information regarding community service will be distributed through social media and local high schools. 

What is the importance of Law Enforcement working with the youth?

Law Enforcement Officers see youth in different aspects. They believe in helping the youth in achieving successful goals and prevention of crimes through educational services and engaging activities. The Law Enforcement Officers at the North Miami PAL make it their primary duty to offer the youth of the community a safe, caring, drug and crime free haven

What is PAL’s approach to the COVID-19 Pandemic?

Face coverings/ or masks will now be required when participants step foot on PAL premises. Temperature checks will be taken upon arrival inside of the facility. PAL participants will now receive an identification badge which will be utilized for scanning into the PAL facility. If a participant leaves a common area, they are expected to return with their hands washed and sanitized with the sanitizing stations will be in the common areas of the facility. In addition, the PAL facility will also be sanitized daily.
